McKenzie Lynn Tozan is a writer and poet in Michigan and Indiana. She is an MFA candidate in Poetry at Western Michigan University, where she is the Layout & Design Editor for New Issues Poetry & Prose and one of the Assistant Poetry Editors for Third Coast. She is also writing book reviews, conducting author interviews and working on her first full-length poetry collection. Be on the lookout, too, for her monthly writing challenges, November Daily and April & May, as well as her nature writing blog, The Daily Sky, which are currently under construction. She previously completed her Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education and Bachelor of Arts in English, with a Concentration in Writing, at IU South Bend, where she worked as Managing Editor at 42 Miles Press and was a volunteer reader for the in-house literary publication, Analecta. She currently lives in Portage, Michigan, with her husband, three cats, and has a daughter on the way.
